Auditions

The audition process that is used in most places in the musical world is called "blind". They are called "blind" because the people listening will not be able to see you and will make their assessments based on sound alone.

In order to protect the integrity of the process you should try your best to not talk, make identifying noises, or wear identifying clothing (clothing that makes sound). This ensures that the people listening are not influenced by things other than your musical performance.

Keep in mind that the adjucators are only listening to figure out what the best fit for you is. We use these results for Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.

Additionally, these auditions are required for all Tuba/Euphonium Studio Members.
